The Director of Research and Program Development is responsible for leading the research, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs that support youth and families. - Lead the development, coordination, and execution of programs serving youth and families
- Ensure alignment of programs with best practices, community needs, and organizational goals
- Develop and oversee program implementation frameworks, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Monitor program outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery
- Contribute to the organization's long-term strategy by identifying emerging trends and best practices in youth and family services
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine programmatic goals and objectives
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in services and opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, and funders
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance program offerings and research initiatives
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other public engagements
- Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform program decisions and improvements
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for measuring success
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes for program monitoring and improvement
- Prepare and present reports on program impact, outcomes, and recommendations to leadership, funders, and stakeholders
- Develop written materials, including research briefs, grant proposals, and policy recommendations
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements and reporting guidelines
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Education, Sociology, or related discipline). A master's degree is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project coordination, program management, or program development within a youth and family service organization
- Licensed child Care Administrator-Texas, Preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in youth development, family services, and nonprofit program evaluation
- Experience in strategic planning, data analysis, and outcome measurement
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience with grant writing and report development
- Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including funders, policymakers, and community partners
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data visualization tools, and program evaluation frameworks
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience supervising staff or leading teams is a plus
