About the Role
This is an entry-level position that requires minimal supervision.
You will be working closely with our production team to maintain and operate equipment in the manufacturing of poultry feed.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and operating equipment in the manufacturing of poultry feed.
- Reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Dismantling machines, moving machinery and equipment.
- Training as a mill operator.
- Assembling and installing equipment such as shafts, conveyors, and pelleting equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance work on all equipment.
- Cleaning, lubricating, and repairing shafts, bearings, and other parts of machinery.
- Routinely performing welding, adjustment, and component replacement of milling equipment.
- Providing timely completion of all repairs.
- Performing inspections as required.
- Keeping accurate, organized records of work performed.
