ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY
SUMMARY: Currently searching for two Part-Time Crew Member Leads, under regular supervision the lead is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the dining services operation such as inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures.
SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):
- Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and oversee the completion of tasks
- Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.
- Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
- Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, etc.
- Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
- Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers’ needs
- Replenishes food items and ensure products are stocked to appropriate levels
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Must be able to work a regular work schedule to include evenings and weekends.
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous lead and/or supervisory experience in a related role preferred
- Satisfactory completion of training program(s)
- 6 months to one-year food service experience required
- Must have or be able to obtain food safety certification
- Understands all aspects of the job and responsibilities
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and lead others
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
