Lead Cloud Engineer (EKS) | Las Vegas (Onsite)
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Istio, security policies, network policies, and Karpenter to enhance scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage AWS EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and security.
- Develop and enforce network policies and security policies to enhance cluster security and compliance.
- Optimize Kubernetes workloads using Karpenter for efficient autoscaling and cost management.
- Implement Istio for service mesh management, traffic routing, observability, and security.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation .
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance CI / CD pipelines with Kubernetes best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud security practices and implement compliance and governance controls.
