Our client is looking to hire a Associate Security Engineer (Penetration Testing Vulnerability Assessment).
This position is responsible for preparing presentations of products or services to customers and assisting other engineers to provide customers with our professional cyber security services, such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services.
Responsiblities:
Presenting service capabilities, defining the scope of work, and drawing up proposals for new and existing clients. o Create and enhance sales materials of our cyber security services.
o Give presentations of our services to customers and prospective customers, adjusting scope of work and methodologies as necessary.
o Collaborate with other security engineers to define statement of work for projects and draw up proposals for customers.
o Respond to inquiries regarding service capabilities as necessary.
Providing support for conducting the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. o Prepare and gather information in advance for the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing with the customer. Coordinate with outsourcers for scheduling and providing required information.
o Conduct the vulnerability scanning and penetration testing under the supervision of a Penetration Testing Engineer.
o Check reports on the results of the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing created by another engineer.
o Provide additional support as needed to the Penetration Testing Engineer conducting cybersecurity consulting with the customer.
Seeks constant improvement, more efficient, and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for resolution.
Maintains good communication with management, office staff members and outside contacts.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Maintains a clean and safe working area.
* Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office, Google Apps Operation, Basic Network and Internet knowledge, and Basic Information and IT Security knowledge.
Education & Work Experience:
Two or more years of work experience in the IT field.
Foundational knowledge of IT, including networks and applications.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, cyber security or equivalent field of study preferred.
Social skills including the ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to work both independently as well as with on a team with other engineers.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Work is performed in an office environment. Travel may be required.
