Lead VMO Governance Analyst
Hybrid – Columbus, OH (7 Easton Oval, Columbus, Ohio)
3-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $45-50/hr

Position Summary
The Lead VMO Governance Analyst drives governance initiatives, enhances tooling, and strengthens workforce enablement and reporting within the Value Management Office (VMO). This role ensures compliance with VMO standards, policies, and processes while identifying risks and improvement areas. Additionally, the position involves training delivery and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain VMO programs, materials, tools, training, and reports.
- Assess existing governance frameworks, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Design and execute new governance and enablement initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with VMO standards, identify risks, and propose solutions.
- Plan and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and leadership.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and governance efforts.
- Act as a subject matter expert for VMO-related inquiries.
- Develop and deliver training programs.
- Mentor and onboard junior team members.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage backlog and prioritize deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8–12 years in a lead role (e.g., Product Manager, Project Manager, BSA, or VMO).
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in O365, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong experience with Portfolio & Project Management tools (ServiceNow PPM, Planview, Clarity, Monday.com).
- Proficiency in process mapping tools like Visio.
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation and training materials.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and collaborate across teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Product Roadmap tools (Planview Roadmaps, ServiceNow SPM, Monday.com).
