We are an eight suite boutique hotel with an authentic and spirited approach to luxury hospitality. The concierge is the welcoming face of Caldera House and plays a dynamic role in the guest experience. Our tight-knit team works together to coordinate the details of each guest stay, assist club members, and ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a social environment, is dedicated and motivated. Hospitality experience is welcome but not required. Candidate will be trained and we will help you grow. Duties & Responsibilities
- Most time is spent working at the front desk but portions of the day are spent actively preparing suites for guests and performing check in’s
- Work closely with other departments to have an up to date understanding of all operations at Caldera House
- Greet all members and hotel guests as the face of Caldera House with enthusiasm & professionalism
- Build exciting and custom itineraries for hotel guests with your expert knowledge of the area
- Recognize unique opportunities to impress guests, such as decorating a suite for birthdays and acknowledging special occasions
- Enjoy creative freedom to facilitate a memorable stay, build unique experiences, solve problems, and more!
- Perform basic administrative/organizational duties and have a solid understanding of computer programs
- Have a working knowledge of reservations & assist in taking booking and selling rooms
- Speak to local vendors to secure bookings for activities, transportation, & dining
Qualifications:
- Current or future resident of the Jackson area
- Basic knowledge of local area
- Motivated to learn new skills
- Ability to sit, stand, move around and carry items of up to 50 lbs
- Strong competence with computer skills and Microsoft Office
- Flexible schedule, ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays and stay for the entirety of the Winter 2023/2024 Season
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally
