Quality Inspector (Monday - Thursday)

Job Summary
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are consistently delivered to the customer. Your primary responsibilities involve conducting thorough inspections, confirming adherence to customer requirements, and closely collaborating with the production team to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough inspections of all aspects of production, including visual inspections and documented inspections.

· Collaborate with Operators and Management to address and rectify any deviations from customer requirements including Risk Assessment and Root Cause analysis.

· Perform routine checks using precision measuring devices on raw materials, work in progress, and finished products. Measuring devices to include calipers, angle finders, squares, radius gauges, and dry film thickness gauges.

· Responsible for logging and reporting non-conformances to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

· Responsible for maintaining the quality manuals calibration procedures and documentation.

· Participate in the development and improvement of welding procedures and welder qualifications.

· Provide support during audits and 3rd party inspections.

· Assist and lead in continuous improvement efforts across the company.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes, with a strong emphasis on ISO standards and Quality Management Systems.

· Proficient in reading customer supplied blueprints and quality documentation.

· Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and specifications.

· Consistently detail-oriented.

· Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality requirements to the production team.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
