What we are Looking For:
As a CEC Travel Superintendent, you will be supervising and coordinating all electrical activities for the installation, maintenance and repair of construction projects.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role in industrial/manufacturing construction.
- Exceptional technical & problem-solving skills to be able to identify electrical issues and proceed with prompt repairs
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Proven experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools. Procore experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license (with satisfactory driving history) and ability to travel as required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical crews, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide installations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and materials to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality and adherence to project plans.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to build a strong and knowledgeable workforce.
