Position: Service Equipment Planner I
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Mondays-Fridays, 8:00-4:00 PM

The Service Equipment Planner I manages daily service equipment order requests and fulfillment across E&A, RDI, Houston LDS, Admiral, Crosby, & Bloomfield plants, acting as liaison between customer service, sales, and manufacturing plants. Maintains physical and systematically accurate service equipment inventory. The Service Equipment Planner I manages all spare parts requests, service equipment production via APP's & production orders, and inventory replenishment in conjunction with SEP II to meet customer demand.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Ensures all service equipment sales orders across plants are filled properly using SAP and internal and external communications
• Works directly with production group leaders to ensure product availability and product quality compliance
• Provides support via emails and phone calls from both internal and external customers regarding equipment availability and manufacturing details, and equipment usage
• Facilitates weekly meetings with plans reviewing upcoming week’s orders to optimize order fulfillment & reduce errors
• Updates unconfirmed notes in SO's regarding delivery dates and any issues from the plant regarding fulfillment
• Manage all spare parts requests in a timely manner
• Estimate costs/price and provide sales for communication with customer. Verify material numbers for spare part(s) by researching drawings/specifications or historic project documentation, or through assistance of field service group
• Verify customer purchase orders for accuracy and coordinate with customer service & appropriate plant for processing
• Document & maintain standard operating procedures for SAP service order processing - intercompany transfers, shipments to customers, returns, troubleshooting, common issues & resolutions, etc.
• Periodic inspection of equipment and quarterly visits to verify inventory
• Audit SAP in conjunction with inventory visits to update notes, location, and condition of equipment
• Assist in abandonment of assets as needed systematically
• Prioritize refurbishment of desired equipment across plants
• Focus on fleet maintenance and customer issues.
• Manages all fixed assets in production side of SAP in conjunction with accounting
• Works with Accounting to assign new FA #, abandonment of assets, responsible for cycle counts and audit support
• Resolves any FA issues for customer capital
• Proactively work with sales to return unused equipment from job sites for use on new opportunities
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• An associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred (degree in supply chain management or related business field)
• 0-2 years of Planning and Scheduling experience using SAP and Excel based programs is required
• Experience in core logistics operations is preferred.
