This is an advanced technical administration and support position that is responsible for the management and support of campus audio/video equipment and works closely to design, implement, and maintain technology in the classrooms and other meeting areas across the campus. Provides influence into standards used across campus concerning A/V equipment and its interaction with other PC type devices. Works closely with the Network Administration team and assists in maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure
Salary: Appropriate placement on ACCS Salary Schedule E1, Grade 2: $50,680 - $68,169
Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.; Friday 7:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

- Assists Technical Director with decisions regarding classroom AV equipment.
- Serve as Lead Classroom Technology and Integration Specialist.
- Lead peers with duties and assignments with the ability to prioritize assignments.
- Manage and maintain classroom AV equipment.
- Maintain current knowledge of Crestron integration equipment
- Support mobile classroom technology integration (i.e. Ipads)
- Support Cisco Digital Signage technology.
- Work with Classroom Integration team to provide seamless integration for new technology in the classroom.
- Analyze information technology systems and provide solutions to end-users.
- Identify computer malfunctions and initiate corrective action to maintain workflow.
- Coordinate with personnel regarding program requirements for new technology.
- Maintain and document computer software as required.
- Assist in maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.
- Perform PC technician duties.
- Promote positive and productive relationships with service areas.
- Perform all duties with professionalism.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a CIS/MIS or a related field from an accredited institution and A minimum of one (1) year job related experience with skills in AV and computer support and management is required OR a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years related work experience with special skills in AV, computer support and management with certification in Crestron equipment support is required.
- A minimum three (3) years’ experience supporting A/V equipment in an enterprise setting is required.
- Crestron Certification in AV controls environments.
- Knowledge of AV systems, controls, amplifiers, etc.
- Knowledge of Crestron controlled systems in classroom/event environments.
- Knowledge in computers and computer software and their integration with AV systems.
- Ability to maintain and support PC troubleshooting and mass PC imaging.
- Ability to support live AV speaking/presentation events.
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of institutional information.
- Ability to make decisions in accordance with institutional policy.
- Knowledge of common desktop applications.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to be insurable.
- Ability to operate in a professional manner at all times.
- Ability to greet individuals of any background with friendliness, tact and courtesy.
