The Tech Integration and Support Specialist is a primary point of contact for all digital technology needs within our community. This role provides frontline support for network access, VoIP phones, printers and copiers, client computers and tablets, classroom technology, A/V equipment, online academic services, and productivity software used by students, faculty, and staff. In addition, the Tech Integration & Support Specialist supports teachers in creating a technology rich classroom environment that elevates and expands the learning experience.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Provide direct technology support for students and employees
  • Microsoft Windows laptops and desktops
  • Apple iPads
  • Promethean ActivPanels
  • Projectors, printers, copiers
  • Instructure Canvas
  • Microsoft 365
  • Google Workspace
• Provide technology training and integration guidance
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide technology-enhanced classroom instruction
• Provision and distribute devices and maintain an accurate device inventory
• Support software, services, and hardware
• Perform hardware repairs
• Manage Mosyle MDM and Promethean remote management platforms
• Collaborate with the technology team on larger projects
• Track and document issues and service requests via ticketing system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an IT-related major
• Three or more years of related experience
• Strong customer service, troubleshooting, interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills, including understanding of best practices for teaching and learning through technology; familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Apple iPad platforms
• Understanding of the systems that support the day-to-day technology functions in schools
• Ability to function well both independently and in a team setting
• Displays effective task-switching and time management skills
• Familiarity with academic settings, preferred
