Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach OSHA10
- Teach First Aid / CPR
- Assist teaching OSHA30
- Conduct Site Audits & Safety Support Visits – Write reports & Follow-up document that correct actions have been taken.
- Respond to Safety issues if Safety Manager is unavailable.
- Site Safety on larger jobs when needed
- Work with PM’s & Superintendents to resolve Safety Issues
- Attend a weekly Safety Coordination Meeting (Thursday’s 4PM)
- Keep positive & helpful attitude
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree desired and 3 years of industrial construction experience
- Minimum of 1-year safety experience in an industrial construction setting
- OSHA500
- Excellent computer skills, especially in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Safety Related Certification (Examples CHST, CET, STS, STSC, OHST, etc)
- Forklift Qualified Trainer
- Scaffold Competent
- First Aid & CPR certified
