Position Overview :
The Product Sourcing Specialist will play a key role in identifying and securing high-quality products in the vape and nicotine sectors. This individual will work closely with the purchasing, operations, and compliance teams to ensure we maintain a diverse, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry trends, a strong network of suppliers, and a keen eye for quality assurance. A crucial part of this role is the ability to effectively negotiate and communicate with Chinese vendors (in China), leveraging fluency in Chinese to secure favorable agreements and maintain strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for vape and nicotine products, ensuring product quality, compliance with regulations, and competitive pricing.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors, with a focus on Chinese suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with Chinese vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
- Monitor product availability and supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, including contracts, supplier communications, and product specifications.
- Utilize fluency in Chinese to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers, ensuring clear negotiations and fostering strong business relationships.
Qualifications :
Chinese language reading & writing proficiency is must.
