Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Teleport Manager for our Kapolei location. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities
Manage the Network Operations Center for all CPT Teleports which is in Kapolei
Responsible for repair and maintenance of all site facilities to include but not limited to A/C’s, building structures, power runs, rack installations and outside plant.
Responsible for the PM’s of all RF equipment and Antenna’s.
Assist in training of Operations personnel in relation to RF/Facilities systems.
Supervise 1st and 2nd level Technical Support to include monitoring of alarms, opening of trouble tickets, escalation and repair of issues and setting shift coverage
Provide after-hours support for all Operations Activities
Maintain inventory of all parts and equipment for the station to include but not limited to Antenna’s, RF/IFL equipment, splitters/combiners, adapters, racks, cabling.
Coordination of new customer installations and existing customer upgrades
Documentation of all work
Other related duties as may be assigned
Must be reachable after hours for support issues.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of satellite communications, antennas, RF subsystems required
- 6 years experience working with military or commercial satellites, preferable at an Earth station or teleport facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of power and fiber infrastructure, to include UPS and genertor functions and maintenance
- Knowledge of antenna pad construction and/or general construction knowledge is a plus.
- Must be able to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
