Cement Foreman

Overview
Caliber Concrete Construction is looking for candidates to fill several open Foreman positions. Candidates interested in this position do not need prior experience being a Foreman, but it is preferred. Caliber Concrete will train new hires on how to be a Foreman. Concrete , Curb and Gutter experience is required for this position.

Foreman will oversee our construction projects and ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Foreman lead a team of 5-7 workers and are expected to work Monday-Friday starting at 5:30am. Weekend work is a possibility but will be paid OT and is optional. Foreman will supervise and manage their crew onsite, help with concrete undertaking and oversee all work site activities. They are expected to complete daily/weekly safety inspection forms and report back to the superintendents at the end of their shift to relay updates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate with their Superintendents.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Salus to track project progress and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
• Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays that may arise.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of concrete construction. (Required)
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Benefits & Pay

Caliber Concrete offers several benefits to Foreman and room for growth. Foreman are hired on as a Tier 1 Foreman and work their way up based on performance assessments that look at skill, leadership, problem solving, etc. Starting wage is $60.58 for Foreman and upon hire candidate will need to join the Local 528 Union.

Tier 1 Foreman

· Assigned a company vehicle to drive and use for commuting.

· Standard Foreman pay $1

· Paid Holidays consisting of 8 days.

Tier 2 Foreman

· Assigned a company vehicle to drive and use for commuting.

· Standard Foreman pay $3

· Paid Holidays consisting of 8 days.

· Paid vacation time of 1 week to be used anytime outside of July-September.

Tier 3 Foreman

· Assigned a company vehicle to drive and use for commuting.

· Standard Foreman pay $5

· Paid Holidays consisting of 8 days.

· Paid vacation time of 2 weeks to be used anytime outside of July-September.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.58 - $65.58 per hour
