We are partnering with an Am Law 200 firm with over 250 attorneys nationwide to recruit a Business Development Manager to support key practice groups. This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm with a collaborative culture that values innovation and exceptional standards of client service. Working closely with high-profile attorneys, practice group leaders, and other internal teams, the Business Development Manager will develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive client development, maximize visibility, and support the firm’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with practice group leaders to design and execute business development plans, advise on best practices, and provide actionable guidance to advance their goals, ensuring alignment with market trends and firm goals.
- Business and Client Development: Manage RFP responses, identify opportunities to expand client relationships, and create client-centric pitches and presentations.
- Marketing Communications and Events: Devise multi-faceted strategies to raise the profiles of the practice and key attorneys, such as through speaking, sponsorship, and writing opportunities. Coordinate with and delegate to the marketing and communications team to implement events and execute on content marketing strategy.
- Project and Performance Management: Track and continuously improve business development activities and outcomes, ensuring initiatives are effectively managed and aligned with strategic priorities.
To be considered, a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment, is required. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with exceptional writing, project management, and interpersonal skills.
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in New York, NY, if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications (e.g., JD/technology), for example.
Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
