Job Description


Seeking a career-minded, highly-motivated, applicant to join the Calibration Laboratory, LLC team as an Account Representative. 

The Account Representative will apply the skills of organization, customer service, and CRM management with a technical prowess to deliver quotes, manage customer contacts, answer customer inquiries, and field service booking. 


Entry Level


An extensive, self-paced training program will be provided to establish the Account Representative role into a productive career in Metrology, Instrumentation, and Account Management. This training consists of hands-on On-The-Job training to manage accounts and find relevant information to supply quotations.


Self-study usually comes from the candidate's willingness to have the initiative to study material after hours in the efforts to assimilate the requisite information for the role. 


Skills and Requirements


  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Experience working in a technical field and dealing with technical information
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software. 
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Strong computer and math skills
  • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • MUST Pass entrance exam (see Application Process below)


Education


  • High School Diploma required

 

Responsibilities


  • Participate in and complete all assigned training courses
  • Manage customer recall requests and generation of quotes 
  • Process quotes and communications from Management
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Generate sales leads to Management as applicable
  • Management of Customer Relationship Management Software including excellent note-taking, task management, and capturing relevant information
  • Determining specifications/tolerances of equipment
  • Understanding and daily application of quality systems and quality standards
  • Excellent knowledge of the laboratory’s Scope of Accreditation
  • Complete all assigned quality assurance training as assigned to include required readings as assigned
  • Promptly addresses customer requests, inquiries and complaints taking actions as appropriate to satisfy the customer or resolve the issue
  • Continually pursue technical proficiency through various means such as self-study and internal training programs to effectively apply to quotations and customer service 
  • Maintain an exemplary cleanliness of work space


Reports To


The Account Representative reports directly to the Operations Director.

eLearning Training Program


Cal Lab has a fully integrated e Learning program in place for the training and growth of laboratory staff. This includes immediate access to training from a desktop computer or applications for iOS and Android devices. We promote the Gamification process with our eLearning to bring your assigned courses to life with Badges, Points, Levels, Rewards and Leader-boards. A full catalog is available to all staff members to encourage self-motivated course selection by staff members instead of strictly relying on course assignment. If staff members are interested in learning new skills, tasks or equipment calibrations, they are encouraged to subscribe to the course and start their training.
