Position Summary:
Compliance Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing and reviewing payroll audits for employee benefit plans. A manager must be able to take the lead on managing and coordinating audits for clients. Strong leadership skills with staff, compliance administrative staff and clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Work with clients and attorneys
- Work with auditors on audit back log and to prioritize audits according to the needs of clients
- Understand client deadlines
- Status reports to clients and management
- Coordinate desk audits
- Database management
- Work with attorneys and fund administrators on resolving known issues with an employers compliance to contract language
- Reviewing staff work and making revisions and audit notes
- Manage large and difficult audits
- Conduct planning meetings with staff before they enter the field/assist while in the field
- Request information as needed from client representatives
- Work closely with Compliance Managers and Principal

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business-related field.
- 3 years of experience auditing payroll.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
- Experience with or knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience with or knowledge of payroll systems.
- Experience with Practice Management reports.
