We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 128-unit community in Burlingame, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, and developing a competent team
- Managing daily operations, including rent collection, resident insurance compliance, and screening criteria adherence
- Reviewing and analyzing monthly performance, completing variance reports, and initiating annual budgets and forecasts
- Identifying potential market challenges, creating effective marketing plans, and ensuring quality and best price for recurring contract work
- Affirming OSHA and other safety procedures, ensuring team education on safety precautions, and confirming up-to-date MSDS information
- Identifying potential repairs or capital projects, maintaining curb appeal standards, and addressing risk management issues
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Leadership/supervisory experience as a Community Manager of 50-200 units
- Strong sales skills and ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
- Ability to calculate figures, solve practical problems, and apply concepts of basic math
- Familiarity with operations software used at the property level, Outlook, Internet software, EXCEL, and WORD
