About the Role:
The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the biogas facility and its processes. Reporting to the Lead Operator, the Plant Operator works independently and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the facility. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant manufacturing process experience (Required)
- 1 year of biogas operations experience (Preferred)
- Operate and troubleshoot facility systems
- Conduct daily checks, walkthroughs, and facility monitoring
- Perform sampling, testing, and analysis to ensure optimal plant performance
- Install, maintain, and repair plant and pump station components
- Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of plant equipment
- Respond to emergencies and breakdowns on-site and at pump stations
- Conduct weekend checks of the treatment plant on a rotating basis
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations
- Maintain open communication with the Lead Operator regarding plant operations and malfunctions
- Actively participate in the plant safety program
- Utilize CMMS software to track work orders and maintenance requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong understanding of the operation, maintenance, and repair of anaerobic digestion facilities
- Familiarity with mechanical, biological, and chemical processes involved in manure digestion
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety measures in biogas plants
- Experience with mechanical equipment, preventive maintenance, and SCADA systems
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
