Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, loving and reliable Child Care provider to join our team. Caregivers who will work with children with special needs to provide assistance with daily activities and interacting with them in ways that encourage growth and development.
Special needs caregivers may also provide support to the families of their clients.
To assist families (Non-Medical) who are seeking relief with their child care needs. We are seeking a responsible, loving and reliable Child Care provider to join our team.
Duties Include but are not limited to the following:
- To work with a designated child as a 1:1 carer to ensure that they are able to engage with a group of non disabled peers and participate in the activities on offer.
- Actively engaging children/young people, providing encouragement and support
- To support and champion the child ensuring that their individual needs are identified, acknowledged and met.
- To ensure good communication is maintained with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Depending on the individual the role may require aspects of personal and intimate care (i.e. toileting and feeding)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
