Position details:
- Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch)
- Compensation: $18 - $22/hour depending on experience.
- Main duties:
- Run airTec edgebander machine
- Quality check all materials.
- Ensure work area is organized, tidy, and clean.
- Fill in other shop positions when necessary.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Run airTec edgebander machine
- Position requirements include: Ability to move at fast pace, strong attention to detail, quality minded, excellent communication abilities (verbal and written), extended periods of walking, standing, stooping and lifting up to 20-70 lbs. consistently, willingness to cross-train on machine operations, team player.
- Uniform/PPE: Company provides eye protection and logoed shirts. Candidate must supply your own footwear and hearing protection.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines.
- Take direction from supervisor.
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation, attention to detail.
- Adhere to all safety procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
- Reliable and trustworthy regarding attendance.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Significant walking
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening.
