Job Summary : The Machine Operator is responsible for the proper operation of the assigned machine in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and to ensure that outputs conform to specifications
- Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Basic math and computer skills may be utilized.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and operator level maintenance instructions and procedures.
- Will be assigned and perform additional duties as required by the company.
