Position Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and integrating high-level system architectures for mission-critical programs. Your role involves aligning operational concepts with technical solutions, ensuring system efficiency, and delivering fully integrated solutions that meet mission objectives.

You will collaborate with government representatives, providing technical expertise, innovative solutions, and comprehensive systems engineering documentation.

Primary Responsibilities Requirements Analysis & System Architecture

  • Analyze user requirements, high-level system architectures, and operational documents to develop detailed system specifications.
  • Lead the design, development, and integration of system solutions, ensuring compatibility with frameworks like DoDAF (Department of Defense Architecture Framework) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

System Integration & Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership in integrating new designs into existing operations.
  • Develop, review, and maintain system engineering documentation, including architectures, technical manuals, and operational guides.
  • Conduct trade studies, technical analyses, and performance evaluations to enhance system capabilities.

    • Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with government stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with mission requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and best practices in systems engineering.

    • Required Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Note : Five additional years of systems engineering experience can be substituted for a degree.)

    • Experience

  • 20 years of experience in systems engineering roles on programs / contracts of similar scope, complexity, and size.
  • Proven experience in leading systems engineering efforts, including requirements analysis, architecture development, and system integration.
  • Hands-on expertise in :

    • SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) collection & analysis

  • Cyber mission technologies
  • DoD frameworks

    • Key Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of system architectures and operational concepts
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and end-user requirements analysis
  • Leadership experience in SIGINT (civilian & military roles)
  • Familiarity with DoDAF, SOA, and modern system integration methods
  • Experience integrating mission technologies into operational environments
