Role Overview
California Custom Fruits and Flavors is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. Material Handlers are a critical part of how we can produce our products.
Daily Tasks
- Pick raw materials required from cold storage and place into staging area for production.
- Assure accurate inventory counts.
- Comply with GMP’s.
- Supply raw materials for the formulation of products.
- Maintain accuracy of the perpetual inventory, as well as traceability of product movement within dry storage.
- Shipping customer orders.
- Receiving any raw materials in a safe and high-quality manner.
- Putting frozen or refrigerated finished product into proper location after closed by production.
What You Need to Succeed
- PPE: Steel toed leather boots and lift belt.
- Stand-Up Forklift Certified
- Stand-Up Forklift experience
- Experience utilizing RF Scanner
- Ability to lift 45lbs (bending, flexing, gripping)
- Ability to work in cold storage environments as needed
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
