On an assigned route or as a school van driver, operates an automotive van, truck, or related automotive vehicle to transport food, supplies, equipment, or money between designated schools. Responsible for the transportation of students in the school van, over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensure vehicle operation is in safe operating condition; and ensure the safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from vans and performs related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent - Driver's license - Satisfactory background checks and motor vehicle history - Preferred: experience driving school-age children - Satisfactory pre-employment physical examination
NOTE: - Salary Placement: External candidates cannot place past step D. Internal candidates will be placed based on CSEA Article VIII (8) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. - Benefits: This position includes a full benefit package of Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and eligible dependents. - Schedule: Monday - Friday - 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM (6 hours).
