The FMD is located in in downtown Sacramento in the East End Complex across the street from the beautiful Capitol Park Rose Garden.
Job Description And Duties
Under general direction of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), of the Travel Team, the Associate Administrative Analyst (AAA) (Accounting Systems) is responsible for performing professional accounting duties of increased difficulty that is associated with the auditing, reviewing and approving of complex Travel Reimbursement Claims in the California Automated Travel Expense Reimbursement System (CalATERS) Global system. The incumbent independently performs the more difficult professional accounting duties at the full journey level with specific responsibilities that include posts financial transactions into the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) to maintain the financial integrity of the departmental General Ledger and may exercise moderate control in administration of established policies and procedures and may have on-going contacts with the program managers and control agencies.
The incumbent may be required to work additional hours outside of an established schedule during peak periods, such as year-end.
