Job Description And Duties
Under general direction of the CEA, the Assistant Chief Counsel (ACC) serves as the advisor to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel regarding a wide variety of legal, social and government issues of the Department of State Hospital (DSH). The ACC supervises and oversees all legal work relating to labor and employment matters. The ACC is responsible for managing staff who work in all subject matter areas of the Legal Division which include, but are not limited to, Hospital Support; Business & Government Practices; Human Resource Issues/Personnel Hearings; and Involuntary Medication Programs and Hearings.
