Duties & Responsibilities Other Duties May Be Assigned
- Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
- Sells products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
- Takes and fills special orders for customers.
- Finishes products (e.g. fills or ices donuts or pastries).
- Packages, labels, and prices products for self-service.
- Maintains and fills bakery trays, display cases, and ingredient bins.
- Operates the scale.
- Operates the bread slicer (if at least 18 years of age).
- Assists with unloading trucks and organizes and restocks supplies.
- Follows sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Assists in cleaning duties.
- Assists in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work well with others and be an effective team member.
- A passion for serving people.
- Strong communication skills
- Posses the ability to handle high stress and volume of customers while maintaining a positive shopping experience for the customer.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand for long periods of time; walk; frequent use of hands.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
