Description

The Shipping Administrator will be the primary contact person (phone and email) between current customers and CNP and as such the primary requirements for the candidate are as follow, exceptional organizational skills, customer skills, and clear, diplomatic phone skills. The Shipping Administrator will be responsible for fulfilling most customer orders and managing fulfilment of other order related requests generated by these customers. All aspects of the job are dependent upon strong computer skills and good time management in a very active, multi-tasking environment.

Requirements

• Order Fulfilment (Initial and Consignment) - Primary responsibility for the entire ordering / fulfillment process.
• Order entry
• Shipping document preparation
• Shipping arrangements
• Troubleshooting & follow up to assure orders shipped correctly.
• Coordination with production planning to fulfill customers' orders in an appropriate fashion.
• Attend weekly planning meetings when necessary.
• Coordinate delivery date with production schedules.
• Assist in the optimization of shipping efficiency by maximizing two-day lead times and minimizing rush shipments.
• Customer Request Fulfilment - As the central order administrator, must manage the process of fulfilling customer purchase orders. This requires coordination with Production Planning, Purchasing, Product Supply and Business Development
• Manage inventory levels for dedicated accounts
• Basic / Advance Knowledge of Excel is preferred.
• Excellent phone presence - the CS will be continuously communicating with customers and the exchanges must be professional, productive, and pleasant for the customer.
• Very strong customer relations skill is critical - must be an advocate for the customer in the interest of California Natural Products
• Ability to cross train to learn other functions / accounts with Shipping Administrative Role.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Compensation - Bonus Potential : You will be eligible to participate in the Gehl Food & Beverage Bonus Program for non-exempt employees. Under this Program, quarterly and annual bonus payouts are based on achievement of targeted production numbers. Gehl Foods, LLC reserves the right to change the Bonus Program at anytime, without notice.

Working Conditions :

This position is primarily located in an office environment, however, may occasionally be exposed to wet and varying temperature conditions between 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, moving machinery parts, airborne particles, and allergens including soy, milk, and milk by-products and fumes from food processing equipment.
