SUMMARY
The position requires a friendly and energetic demeanor while handling front office reception and administration duties. This includes but not limited to greeting guests and making them feel welcome, answering phones, handling company inquiries, customer service assistance, and other office clerical duties.
Hours
This position requires a part time schedule of 2-3 days in office. Saturdays will be required and the other working days Monday - Friday are flexible. Hours are 9am to 5pm. We are closed Sundays.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within a team dynamic to support the mission of California Pools & Landscape
- Assist customer with project related questions
- Support sales staff/designers with contract paperwork
- Answer phones and operate a switchboard
- Answer inquiries about the company
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable
- Ensure the office is tidy
- Take payments both over the phone and in-person
- Sign for incoming packages and prepare outgoing packages
- Make daily deposits of checks received
- Perform scanning, filing, and clerical duties
- Take and relay messages through our company system
- Assist customers with product questions or construction inquires
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of office clerical or reception experience
- A positive attitude and desire to learn
- Highly effective communication skills both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and other employees
- Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
