Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst is responsible for reviewing applications for Disability/Industrial Disability Retirement, gathering necessary medical and legal documentation, and adjudicating CalPERS member’s cases in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disability Retirement Review: Evaluate disability and industrial disability retirement applications.
- Case Management: Collect medical and legal documents, assess eligibility, and ensure timely case determinations.
- Customer Communication: Clearly communicate decisions and next steps to applicants.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and quality of the disability retirement process.

Pay: $5,855.00 - $7,327.00 per month
