Our Retirement Benefit Services Division, Retirement Benefit Processing and Maintenance Unit 411 is seeking one full-time Staff Services Analyst (SSA) to perform a full range of estimate and retirement benefit calculations. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, this position is responsible for addressing service retirement inquiries, completing service retirement estimate requests, and calculating retirement benefits to ensure California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) retirees receive a timely and accurate benefit payment.
The SSA will be responsible for independently researching, analyzing, and completing a full range of benefit related assignments. This includes answering inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of an estimate, retirement date change, option change, beneficiary change, and retirement application cancellations.
