Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and charismatic admissions coordinator to assist at our facility. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Admissions Coordinator will manage tasks such as fielding potential client contacts, assisting in educating clients on our philosophy and treatment services, and motivating qualified clients to engage in treatment. The primary job focus on data entry, lead generation, follow-up calls, verifying insurance coverage, completing pre-admission documents, and scheduling admissions.
To ensure success in this role, Admissions Coordinator needs to be organized, efficient, and able to communicate effectively with people. The Admissions Coordinator will be sales-oriented with a strong sense of empathy.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating the admissions process from the initial phone call to admission at our facility.
- Help schedule, complete screening assessments with clients, and be able to relay information to supervisors to help determine eligibility and appropriateness for our program.
- Interpret insurance benefits and explain them to clients and families in a way they understand.
- Arrange scheduling for admissions and intakes.
- Organize and input information into CRM databases.
- Manage documents that need signatures or authorizations.
- Answer admissions phone call and emails from prospective clients.
- Speak to families in times of crisis and be a calm voice while offering solutions.
- Maintain relevant records and documentation as required by the job.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Eligibility and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- 2 years' work experience in the Behavioral Health Industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enrollment/admissions software (Salesforce/KIPU).
- Efficient typing and data-capturing skills.
- Proper phone etiquette.
- Proven sales aptitude.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment individually and with a team.
- Multitasking and job-role flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
