This position comes with great compensation and benefits The base salary for this role is $54,100 to $81,180. Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.

Solar Install Lead Position Details & Responsibilities
The Lead Installer’s primary responsibility is to report to operations & support Installer activities while in the field by providing quick responses, maintaining solar system performance, delivering excellent customer service to our customers on site, ensuring a smooth workflow from warehouse inventory to complete install & services. Itemized responsibility listed below, but are not limited to.
- Utilizes knowledge and skills to install solar systems, services, maintenance, warranty repairs, batteries, design, inspections and other purposes; Training/On-boarding/Managing installers for fully functional crews. This includes tracking vehicle mileage, gas cards etc. for each crew.
- Is experienced with all ground work including installing batteries.
- Installs and maintains solar systems according to engineering designs, permits and electrical code
- Completes quality assurance inspections on site, documenting corrective actions, and ensuring completion of corrective items within defined timelines
- Completes installer quality assurance inspections on site, documenting findings, corrective actions, including write ups, and ensuring of corrective actions/plans for installers.
- Troubleshoots and problem solves any in field unforeseen issues during install.
- Collaborates closely with manufacturers and operations team to resolve technical issues
- Identifies solutions to resolve technical design problems, including electrical systems used during construction
- Provides training to service staff and installs on system operation such as how to identify and resolve issues, repairs, full install, etc.
- Manages warehouse & vehicle-material stock and equipment inventory
- Maintains compliance with all OSHA Safety policies and practices
- Provides training to installer about service process, system usage, operation, performance and maintenance
- Manages and resolves customer concerns on site and issues in a timely manner; communicates and documents progress to customer and relevant CRE employees
- Documents key communications in appropriate CRE software
- Develops positive and professional relationships with dealers and service-only providers within an assigned service area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of solar/electrical installation experience Residential solar experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems, blueprints and spec sheets
- Must hold and maintain a valid Driver's License and have a personal vehicle to travel between job sites - no use of motorcycles or scooters during business hours
- Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 Certification Associates degree Experience in roofing or construction
- Experience leading a team/crew Working experience with conduit/bending conduit
- Experience working with batteries
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, especially with residential PV installations Proficient in the installation of grid-tied and micro inverter applications Electrical Journeyman's License NABCEP certification
