At California Sports Center, you can be a part of a long-standing, successful dance program that provides at least two recitals annually where our students perform choreographed dances for their family and friends and the public - and you make it happen!

CSC Instructors partner with site leadership to ensure outstanding customer experience for our students, parents, and staff.
They work under the Site Manager with the support and guidance from our leadership team who sets the standards of instruction for the program. Instructors also use their creativity to implement themes, skills, goals, projects, and events, and choreograph routines for our December and July Recitals as assigned.

General Skills: Leadership – Self-motivated, but also a team player. Confidently leads groups of children. Knowledge – Developing a strong understanding of beginner & intermediate dance concepts. Utilizes appropriate skill progressions & development, and knows all associated terminology. Communication – Demonstrates strong communication skills with parents & students, fellow coaches, and CSC office staff & management.
When do we need you? We are looking for a part-time instructor at our Race Street location. The instruction is year 'round. The primary dance styles/disciplines we are involved in include ballet, tap, lyrical, hip-hop and performance based groups. Our focus is on the younger ages 3-12, though we offer opportunities for teens too and this position may include working with a performance group. Summer only hires need not apply at this time (try March.) The right candidate will be considered for summer hours and for additional weekday after school hours as we open new classes.
The pay range for this position is $17.55 - $25.00 per hour depending on your years of experience instructing dance.
