Job Title : Project Manager / DispatcherOverview :

The Project Manager / Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring efficient scheduling, and serving as the primary point of contact between field operations and project stakeholders. This dual-role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Coordination :
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Dispatching Duties :
  • Assign and dispatch field personnel and resources efficiently to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor ongoing tasks, track progress, and update schedules as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication :
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports regarding project status, potential issues, and solutions.
  • Problem Solving and Risk Management :
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Resolve conflicts and address issues swiftly to minimize impact on project timelines.
  • Resource Management :
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure all necessary tools and materials are available.
  • Maintain a clear record of resource allocation and usage throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation and Reporting :
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, progress reports, and final project deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications :

  • Education :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. (preferred, not required)
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus.
  • Experience :
  • Proven experience in project management or operations, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Experience in dispatch or logistics management is highly desirable.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and dispatch systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Personal Attributes :
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment :

  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to work in an office environment as well as on-site at project locations.
  • May require occasional travel to different sites based on project demands.
