Job Description
We are seeking a Community-Operations Project Manager to join a mission driven organization dedicated to ending homelessness throughout the Sacramento region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working for a non-profit that focuses on coordinating housing and services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness. The Project Manager is a key position responsible for ensuring the organization's strategic initiatives and goals are researched, planned, and executed. The ideal candidate will have a PMP certification with non-profit, community or local government project management experience. Successful partnership efforts with government agency stakeholders, and Agile-Waterfall (Hybrid) project management experience are essential for this position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES :
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to meet organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project success criteria.
- Facilitate regular communication to provide updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships to ensure stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Resolve project related issues and challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure optimal use of personnel, tools, and materials.
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project reports to leadership, summarizing progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and tools for greater efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
