What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Call Mom?
A growing Los-Angeles-based hospitality group is seeking an opening general manager to lead the team at our newest concept, an American-Italian style restaurant.
Responsibilities:
-Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
-Complete scheduling and payroll for Front of House team members
-Support staff with service whenever and however necessary
-Provide training opportunities that educate and empower the team
-Conduct regular team meetings and administers counseling when necessary
-Physically tour and inspect the property on a daily basis, monitoring condition and cleanliness
-Comply with local, state and federal health department and labor standards
Qualifications:
-High School diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable restaurant and/or hospitality management experience
-Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals
-Capable of setting priorities, planning, organizing, delegating, and controlling processes
-Flexibility and openness to change course according to the needs of the business
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
-Strong management, organizational, and data analysis skills
Salary Range $100-110k, Potential Bonuses, Paid Time Off, Employee Discounts, Retirement Savings Plan
