Technical Program Manager (Optical & Embedded Software/Firmware)
- Basic Qualifications
• Education
o Bachelor's degree in engineering/science.
• Experience
o Minimum 5 years of program management experience.
o Prior experience in optics required, ideally with optical transceivers or
related modules.
o Demonstrated track record of embedded software or firmware
development for hardware products that have shipped to market.
o Proven ability to successfully run complex programs/projects.
• Skills
o Proficient in project management tools (e.g., advanced Excel).
o Excellent strategic planning capabilities, especially under ambiguity - Strong negotiation and influencing skills to form collaborative working
relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with electro-optical products such as transceivers, Active Optical
Cables (Client), Active Electrical Cables (AEC), or Direct Attach Cables (DAC).
• Hardware or firmware development background (as a designer or program
manager) specifically within optical environments.
• Familiarity with quality and reliability requirements for electronic and optical
products.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus.
