Technical Product/Program Manager (Managing Engineering Architecture team)
Required Skills:
- 6 years' experience in building products with a focus on cloud-based high-performance systems
- 4 years' experience in leading and managing high performance teams
- Have led a team of 7-10 engineers and owned accountability of E2E delivery
- Excellent stakeholder and program management
- Extensive experience building distributed systems and cloud services using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Golang, Python
- Advocacy for engineering and operational excellence
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Exposure to developing large-scale data platforms using cloud technologies and Data warehouse products like BigQuery, RedShift.
- Proficient in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs)
- Strong experience in running cloud-distributed system in production for at least 2-3 years
- Experience in creating high-performing, highly scalable, and distributed middle-tier services, in the Cloud like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Good knowledge and experience with developing REST based APIs and integrations
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms
- Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Google Cloud Platform DevOps
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.
- Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.
- Well versed with Agile (Scrum) methodology.
