Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across our key markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer needs, along with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving sales targets. As a key member of the executive team, the Director of Sales will develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with our overall business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that drives profitable revenue growth and expands market share. Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales quotas and objectives.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Utilize this data to refine sales approaches and drive competitive advantage.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to promote brand visibility.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and ensure accurate forecasting. Regularly report sales performance to the executive team and recommend actionable improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and support.
Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge across the sales team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 of experience in sales, with at least 2 in a leadership role overseeing a sales team.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
