Job Description And Duties
Will Consider Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA).
Consult with Managers and Supervisors to identify and resolve training issues, provide options and alternatives that may include the development of training programs to meet identified needs. This involves collaborating with customers to identify training needs, develop course objectives, construct lesson plans, develop course delivery methods, develop in-house evaluations, develop cost effective training, and identify effective resources/methods such as classroom training (in-person). computer/web based training, use of internal or external consultants. Develop, implement, coordinate, evaluate and continuously improve the Division's statewide training programs (i.e., leadership, management, supervisory, rank and file training programs) to meet the identified statewide Department training needs. Evaluate the Department's training programs and instructors to measure program effectiveness; provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training programs. Conduct training for trainers' courses and other statewide training programs. Participate in special training related task forces; prepare training reports; present to the Director, Managers, Supervisors, Training Officers/Coordinators, and internal and external customers; and perform other training activities, as needed. May perform other Administrative duties, outreach program, projects, Job fairs, and Cal-Card purchases.
