Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position is $32.00-$38.00 p/hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the requirements of the position. 

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare proposals/quotes including product sizing, selection, and pricing.
• Manage workload and engage available internal and external resources as required to meet customer deadlines.
• Proactively follow up with customers on quotations achieving a high hit rate of conversion to orders and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work with Account Manager’s and SME’s in post award activities to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and drive customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical proficiency with products represented, internal business systems, and principal supplied sizing tools.
• Performs related duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

• BS/BA degree (preferred) OR combination of applicable experience in data management and business software.
• 2 years as an inside sales representative or equivalent data processing in a mechanical sales environment.
• High level of PC proficiency including MS Office, principal supplied software, and internal business system.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with a cross section of other employees, principals, and customers.
• Strong customer service skills including the ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and other employees.
• High ethical standards in dealing with customers and principals.
• Good self-management skills to include dependability, initiative, innovation, professionalism and organization skills.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to wear minimum level of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction which may include but is not limited to safety glasses and hearing protection, when required. Must have the ability to perform work with occasional walking and standing in a warehouse environment.

Travel:

Travel will only be once or twice a year for training and not every year.

Salary : $32 - $38
