You will:
Youth Hospitality -
- Own all aspects of the youth hospitality team for weekend services and special events
- Ensure hospitality leaders are trained on all tasks required to create a welcoming environment for students and first time guests
- Own Youth Connect for new students who do not have a small group during weekend services
- Create content and distribute weekly communications to students and parents using MP and external email tools
- Create ways to keep parents connected and informed on weekends and during the week (for example, an after service event inviting parents into the youth building)
- Assist the youth ministry team with all administrative needs
- Facilitate tracking, measuring, and reporting for youth ministry milestones
- Reconcile ministry expenses on the Youth charge card
- Reconcile ministry expenses for petty cash process
Youth Events -
- SPOC for annual youth event planning, including attending bi-monthly SPOC meetings, creating and maintaining a list of all youth events
- Coordination with other ministry teams for youth event needs (i.e. grill, events, travel, IT, facilities, etc)
- SPOC for youth events logistical needs, ensuring all special requests are sent to events, MP is accurate and registration is active (if needed)
Youth Encounter -
- Develop, manage and maintain logistical details of the Youth Encounter
- Partner with Calvary teams to identify stakeholders and individual team leads; hold regular small team meetings to provide updates and communicate any need from those teams
- Schedule and hold regular update and status meetings with all stakeholders
- Ensure all individual teams have the information
- Partner with IT to create event registration
- Maintain and update YE budget
- Own all student check-in activities related to YE
- Ensure all aspects of YE hospitality are planned, documented and assigned to a team lead to manage through the event
- Serve as SPOC for all YE logistical issues during the event
You have:

- The ability to learn and be proficient in Ministry Platform
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to interact with staff, teenagers, families and members of the body efficiently and effectively
- Written and verbal communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly, directly and tactfully to support team objectives
- The gifts of teaching, service, administration, and discernment
- Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher and Google
- The ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask
- The ability to complete projects on time and follow-through efficiently
- The ability to relate to both parents and children dependent on specific situations
- Ability to follow-through, keep check lists, and think of solutions on own
- Flexibility with good time management skills
- A special gifting and desire to equip parents with resources and encouragement
What you are required to know:

- This is a part-time (20 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position.
- You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
