Duties
- Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide information about church services and events.
- Maintain official records, including membership and official Pastoral Acts.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as typing documents, filing, and data entry.
- Manage office supplies and ensure that the office is well-stocked and organized.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic financial record-keeping as needed.
- Coordinate communication between church staff, volunteers, and congregation members.
- Prepare newsletters, bulletins, weekly worship PowerPoint, and other materials for church services and events.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to church operations and members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office or front desk role, preferably in a customer service setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
