Description
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s facility operations, manage staff, manage office moves and janitorial duties, all while remaining in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintaining the buildings and grounds, overseeing equipment and supplies, determining and scheduling repairs or renovations projects, and coordinating safety inspections.
Requirements
Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to the facility

Requirements
- Maintenance, repair and mechanical troubleshooting areas include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, lift truck, cranes, carpentry, HVAC, boilers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Painting. Coordination of any outside contractors to be used for building and grounds. Office telecommunications and office rehab work. Must negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other measures
- Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
- Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Participates in objective setting, plan development and performance review of plant performance.
- Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Tracks and analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as assessing utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
- Ensures city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are met at all times.
