What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bistro Prep position at Calyx Senior Living?
Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Bistro Preps for our BRAND NEW assisted living community opening in March! We are located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh!
With our new community in the final stages of pre-opening, Calyx is looking to hire NOW Bistro Preps to help prepare food items needed for the meal service while following the established menu, standardized recipes, portion control guides and food production time schedules. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to washing dishes, food handling, preparing the kitchen for peak service times, and making sure cooks have adequate supplies during peak service.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous Prep experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during rush hours
- Ability to set goals and achieve them
- 1 to 2 years experience in food handling strongly preferred
