Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
- Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews applications, interviews, etc.)
- Assists with onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Acts as an employee relations specialist.
- Weekly payroll through ADP.
- Manages temp to hire program.
- Monitors tardy and absenteeism report and ensures proper documentation is issued in accordance with the attendance policy.
- Tracks vacation, personal days, FMLA and other time off requests.
- Maintains, updates and distributes the employee phone list.
- Maintains employee database and personnel files.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits I-9 Forms.
- Maintains and updates job descriptions.
- Assists in the administration of health and welfare plans.
- Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update training matrix.
- Handles the community and employee activities.
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
- Provide administrative support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
- Associate's degree in related field & 3 plus years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in the administration of payroll and other human resource programs.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Human resource experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Three to five years of HR generalist experience
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification
